A Virtual Tour

On 20 November, 1945, the trial of the 21 leading representatives of the National Socialist regime began in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice in Court Room 600 which had been converted especially. Because of the importance of the trial, the court room enjoyed world-wide renown.

Over 60 years later, the "Memorial Nuremberg Trials" will be established in this historic location, to be opened in 2010. This necessitates building works which means that it is currently not possible to visit Court Room 600.

You will, however, still be able to see the court room. A virtual tour, led by a personal guide, will be available in the Documentation Centre. This will be supplemented by historical photographs and original film footage, giving an overview of the room and its historic importance.
