Only the most knowledgeable people will guide you through this unique former merchant's mansion: Philipp van Oyrl, Sabina Maria Behaim and Georg Christoph Fembo. After all, they used to live here in times long past. They know each corner and all the secrets of this house, and they are well acquainted with Nuremberg's history.
The speakers: the rich merchant from the Netherlands, the young Nuremberg Patrician, and the man who gave the house its name: Mr. Fembo.
The tour starts on the third floor and guides visitors through 22 rooms. Since the former residents lived in different centuries, they are credible witnesses to history. Each person introduces one of the floors, covering their own century. When visitors go to the next floor, they are accompanied by the next narrator.
Philip van Oyrl guides visitors through the third floor and talks about the time around 1600. Then Sabina Maria Behaim introduces the 17th century on the second floor. And finally, Georg Christoph Fembo guides visitors through the 18th and 19th century and even glances at the 20th century. Our guides don't only speak German, but also English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Duration of tour: 75 minutes
There is no extra charge for the audio guide.

Great excitement in the Free City of the Empire: Emperor Karl V has announced that he will visit Nuremberg. With him will come a whole army of people: counts and envoys, noblemen and bishops. What sort of preparations are needed for the Emperor's visit? How is the ruler to be welcomed? What programme is to be offered to the noble folks?
Children and their parents will find the answers to these questions on the third floor of the City Museum Fembohaus. Young and old play the roles of wealthy Patricians and worthy craftsmen and prepare for the ruler's visit in minute detail. They stage the magnificent reception the Emperor is given, present him with precious gifts and perform a varied entertainment programme for their lord.
Per group: 70.00 EUR, in addition to admission fee
Children only group (e.g. for a birthday party): 75.00 EUR in addition to 1.50 EUR per child
