Noricama - Nuremberg Multivision Show

The 52-minute multivision show on Nuremberg's history is a fast, witty and informative symphony of pictures.

Noricama is presented in a screening room on the ground floor and is directed at all those who want a completely novel look at the city and its history, particularly at visitors and tourists.

Hans Sachs and Elsbeth Tucher: prominent tourist guides through Nuremberg.

Prominent Guides

Emperor Friedrich I. "Barbarossa", Albrecht Dürer, Hans Sachs, Elsbeth Tucher and Karl Grillenberger, in short: the best possible tour guides, have been recruited to show you Nuremberg.

It stands to reason that quite often, they don"t agree, and they publicly discuss their viewpoints, because each of them sees the city with his/her own eyes, which is the particular charm of this multivision show.

The VIPs of former centuries discuss art and culture, trade, crafts and inventions, and they sometimes venture a bemused comment on the present day.

The Show

In two years of work, the renowned Nuremberg art photographer Lajos Keresztes (born in 1933 in Budapest) created over 3000 Nuremberg motifs which were supplemented by historic pictorial material and film footage for the Noricama show.

Nuremberg multivision artist, Günter Schwank, devised the basic concept, wrote the script in co-operation with nuremberg municipal museums and realised the show.
