General Information on the Nuremberg German Games Archive

The Nuremberg German Games Archive (DSAN) is a unique collection of parlour games from the 20th century. The focus is on board and table games from the German-speaking world after 1945. Around 30,000 games have been collected since the foundation of the archive in Marburg in 1985. Annually, about 300 to 400 newly published games are added. The German Games Archive is the memory of the games world.

Current News

Start of play in new premises! The Games Archive has completed its move to the Pellerhaus. The archive’s collection and inventory activities will now be carried out here, and, by arrangement, the comprehensive library on "games" can be used.
