Special Collection on Albrecht Dürer's Posthumous Influence

Starting off with a small core collection of original engravings and woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer, the world's most comprehensive collection on the artist's posthumous influence and fame has been amassed, in co-operation with the Nuremberg Foundation Albrecht Dürer's House (Albrecht-Dürer-Haus-Stiftung e. V.). Stock has been continually supplemented. The foundation furthermore owns what is probably the best Dürer specialist book collection.

Special exhibitions showing works from our collection may be seen as temporary exhibitions in our other museums, such as Albrecht Dürer's House or the City Museum Fembohaus.
