The motto for our smaller museum visitors in the Fun Learning Lab is touching, grasping, and trying out things, moving about and playing. Here, children are free to do what is usually not permitted in museums. Twenty experiment stations invite children to play and gather experiences. En route, they also learn about some important technical and physical principles which form the basis of the many machines exhibited in the museum. The residential museum mouse takes them on a tour of the "marvellous world of technology and science".
By previous appointment, special educational programmes are also available. The children's area is self-contained - a "mini museum" for the little ones.
