The Nuremberg School Museum is a co-operation between the University Erlangen-Nürnberg and the City of Nuremberg. The museum is housed in the Museum for Industrial Culture.

Admission Fees for Special Exhibitions

When special exhibitions are presented in the museum, contracts with external exhibition agencies might necessitate some changes to admission fees.

Day Tickets

For an extra 2.50 EUR you can also use your entrance ticket as a day ticket, i.e. if, for example you buy a day ticket at School Museum, you may also visit all other municipal museums free of charge on the same day.
This day ticket offer does not apply to holders of the Nuremberg Pass and to school students visiting with their school class.

The tickets do not include special guided tours, such as e.g. the costumed guided tour with "Agnes Dürer" in Albrecht Dürer's House or with "Katharina Tucher" in the Museum Tucher Mansion, the visit to the Noricama Multivision Show in the City Museum Fembohaus, the visit to the Mediaeval Dungeons, the World War II Art Bunker, the Graphic Art Collection or Court Room 600, or the programmes offered by the Study Forum at the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds.

Annual Season Tickets

An annual season ticket for Nuremberg Municipal Museums allows you to visit all municipal museums for one year, starting from the day of issue:

You can purchase or order personalized annual season tickets at the following places:

  1. At the museum ticket offices:
    Order the annual season ticket with the option of paying immediately or being billed. The season ticket will be sent to you by mail. If you pay immediately, the cash register receipt can be used as a temporary pass for visiting the City of Nuremberg's museums until you receive the actual season ticket (no more than 4 weeks later).
  2. At the Directorate of the Nuremberg Municipal Museums:
    Order the annual season ticket, which will be mailed and invoiced to you.

Car Parking Facilities

There are about 35 parking spaces in front of the museum.
Public transport takes you straight to the museum entrance (see above).
