With these 360 degree panoramic views, you can take a look at the Toy Museum.
In this room, numerous exhibits demonstrate the development of the doll from fashion and demonstration object to plaything between about 1750 and the 1950s. The dolls' houses shown here range from the era of Biedermeier to Historism and Art Nouveau right through to the 1940s. They not only illustrate the change in life styles, but also give a vivid picture of the lives of middle-class families.
This room is dedicated to tin toys, mainly from Nuremberg manufacturers. Cars, trains, aeroplanes, ships and steam engines introduced children - mainly boys - to the world of technology in the age of industrialisation. A small separate museum unit focuses on the great importance of the metal construction kit for the toy world of the 20th century.
